Admitting Things to Yourself

In order to get better with whatever is going on you need to admit it to yourself first before you can fight it. Depression is like being a drug addict, an alcoholic or even someone with health issues. You have to be able to accept someone telling you are slipping  and falling down in order to regain the ground you lost in the progress you made you need to say it  admit to yourself.  Like "I have gone backwards a bit but now i need to kick myself back in gear and regain the progress I was making." and if saying exactly what has gotten you to fall down then add it to your statement to yourself. You can not fight something and get better mental,physically or even from a substance if you do not stand up and say it and give what you are feeling a name. The people who care about you will understand you will fall but you do have to dust yourself off and be willing to redo what you have all ready done it will not take as long as long as every time you fall you can admit it. "It gets easier each time and takes less time to get back where you made it to." You will be better it just takes time and patience but this is something you need to do and think of it as an accomplishment just like reaching a goal which deserves a gold star.
Yesterday myself I admitted this:
"I have fallen off the positive horse I was riding and hit the ground now i need to dust off the negative thoughts off and grab those reigns and get back up on that positive horse."
{It is the bigger person who can hear from the people who love you that you can hear them tell you you have fallen backwards and stand up and say yes I have let my depression get me down butI need to kick myself in the butt and not let it take over me.}
