Depression

DEPRESSION

        Depression affects all of us once in awhile. I know for the past week I myself have kinda succumb to my depression. I have been dealing with so much and feeling like I am alone even though I am not. I want to apologize to everyone who has read my blog for not keeping up with it everyday like I have been. I like sharing my thoughts and I am glad to have the friends I have made because one of them told me yesterday if she did not kick me in the tush and tell me that I was heading for a deep depression. I even had my husband say hunny you are going backwards and not forwards. I have to force myself to realize that I have to admit that I am heading backwards letting pain,my body,stress get the best and control of me again. I am my own person and I can not let my body control me. I am worth it I know the diagnoses are and one I know i have to learn to live with them but not them control me.
       I am glad so many  people do care such as the friends in the group I am in at my counseling place. I know I need to tell the PA that I need to have my medications need adjustment so I can get out of this stupor I have gotten in. I know as long as there is a rope thrown down into my hole of darkness I can pull myself out because I do have great positive people in my life I can depend on. I know I can not be everything for everyone and that's okay because if I can not take care of me how can I take care of anyone else that I love. You need to surround yourself with positive people and basically people who truly love and accept you for you.

HERE ARE SOME POSITIVE STATEMENTS TO REMEMBER:

1. BE POSITIVE: DO NOT THINK NEGATIVE OR LET OTHER NEGATIVE HINGS TAKE OVER YOU
2.BELIEVE IN YOURSELF: YOU CAN DO ANYTHING IF YOU IF YOU BELIEVE
3.BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF AND EVERYONE YOU LOVE
4. BE TRUE TO YOURSELF: ACCEPT YOURSELF FOR WHO YOU ARE
5.BE STRONG : GET BACK UP IF SOMETHING OR SOMEONE KNOCKS YOU DOWN
6. BE YOURSELF: DO NOT PRETEND TO BE ANYONE BUT YOU
7.BE FAITHFUL TO YOURSELF AND WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN
8. BE FORGIVING : DO THIS FOR YOURSELF NOT FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S BENEFIT AND THIS WAY YOU
9.BE ABLE TO ADMIT WHEN YOU NEED HELP AND ASK FOR IT
10. BE SURE TO ALWAYS MAKE TIME FOR YOU AND ENJOY THE SIMPLE THINGS WE TAKE FOR GRANTED EVERYDAY.

*LAST BUT NOT LEAST YOU ARE IMPORTANT AS ANYONE IN THE WORLD AND YOU DESERVE TO BE LOVED AND ACCEPTED FOR YOU AND NOT WHAT PEOPLE WANT YOU TO BE. DO NOT LOSE SIGHT OF WHAT IS IMPORTANT  TO YOU BECAUSE IF YOU DO YOU MAY LOSE YOURSELF IN THE END.*
